Hello everyone and welcome to the new
Chocolate Baroque Challenge Blog!
We are a new monthly challenge blog, with challenges launching on the third Wednesday of every month.
Our challenges are based around an inspirational photograph with a colour swatch for you to use for your projects. You can use any medium to create your projects; paints, inks, pencils, pens, as long as you keep to the colours from the colour swatch in your project. You can make whatever you like; a card, tag, box, scrapbook page, altered item, mixed media project, there are no limits.
We are offering a monthly prize of £15 to spend on the Chocolate Baroque website to a lucky winner. The winner will be selected by Random.org from all the entrants who have used Chocolate Baroque stamps in their projects. We welcome entries incorporating other stamps, but they will not be eligible to win the monthly prize. All entrants will have a chance to be selected as one of our Top Three and can then display our 'I made the Top Three at Chocolate Baroque' badge on their blog.
Take a look around the blog and familiarise yourself with the layout. Have a read through the tabs at the top, they are pretty self-explanatory, you can even find out why challenges are good for you; and read how you can take part. The most important thing is to have fun, create something colourful and to share it with everyone. Good Luck.
Here is the first photograph for you to use for this month's challenge:
The challenge will close at 12.00 p.m. on 19th August GMT, and the winner will be announced on Wednesday 27th August 2014.
Our Team have created some inspirational projects for you:
Whoohoo, I had an inkling this was what you've all been hinting at. Great idea and I'll be putting the link in my Challenge sites list in my sidebar. I don't get much time recently for crafting :-( but will certainly put entering CB challenge at the top of my 'things I want to do'! The colour challenge will certainly be a toughie for me and take me out of my comfort zone. Good luck everyone!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations Lesley & Judith - the tab headers at the top are excellent & I just smiled when I read 'Why enter our Challenge?" for what you say is so true. This is going to be a real challenge for me as I struggled with the CB Birthday challenges - colour challenges are definitely outside my comfort zone. Thank you for all the hard work that has gone in to creating a Challenge Blog for Chocolate Baroque - it's something that I've longed for.

Thanks for all your comments so far, I hope you will join in the fun so we can make this THE best challenge blog around. One thing I do want you all to know is that the design of this blog is down to Glenda, she is the one that has come with all the logos, badges etc. And given how she did this just prior to moving house I am sure you'll all agree it is fabulous. Thanks a million Glenda. Lesley
